GREETINGS CARDS BY ERIC WILDCAT HALL Wildcat is a native American and AIM activist who is being held on charges of shipping arms to Central America and is serving a sentence of 35-75 years. He has initiated campaigns on the inside for the right to freedom of religion for native american prisoners, i.e the return of confiscated spiritual and cultural items and medicine bundles, and access to indigenous spiritual leaders. He has continued painting inside and created these three paintings especially for Brighton ABC to produce greetings cards and raise funds for indigenous resistance movements and prisoners. (note the reference to AIM in the tiger face and to Mapuche [indigenous people of the Southern Cone] in the leopard face). Wildcat's address is on the prisoners list. £ 1 EACH GREETINGS CARDS BY ZOLO AGONA AZANIA Zolo was fitted up for the murder of a cop in 1981 and has been on and off death row since then. At the time of his arrest he was actively involved in the movement for self-determination of New Afrikan people in the US, and it is believed this was the reason for his imprisonment. Currently the state is trying to bring the death penalty against him for a 3rd time. Typically he has been treated to unfair trials, harrassment and interference with his legal documents and correspondance, and kept in the hole without reason even when the death penalty was commuted. He's an artist and a writer, and these are just two of the many images he has created reflecting black liberation and resistance since the 80s. We hope to raise some money for his defence campaign. Zolo's address is on the prisoners list; also see his website -http://www.prairiefire.org/freezoloazania.html £ 1 EACH
